Current support
The current accessibility focus covers the route-planning flow, AQI evidence, selected route actions, map summaries, and Apple Watch handoff.
- VoiceOver. Route rows, selected state, AQI category, provider source, recommended time, map summaries, Calendar actions, and watch handoff expose labels, values, hints, or direct assistive actions.
- Dynamic Type. Route rows, Activity & Air evidence, provider rows, route-window selection, map summaries, and exposure summaries reflow at larger accessibility text sizes.
- Route narrative. Selected-route map summaries expose route name, AQI category, recommended time, source, exposure, and freshness as nonvisual route narrative.
- Differentiate Without Color. AQI status pairs color with value and category text; selected route state includes a checkmark and spoken selected state.
- Voice Control. Primary route actions retain visible text labels or stable accessibility labels for route selection, directions, Calendar, details, refresh, notification controls, and watch handoff.
- App Store accessibility URL. This page is the public accessibility URL referenced by the App Store metadata contract.
Validation approach
Release checks pair automated metadata and UI smoke tests with targeted manual notes for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch accessibility passes.
